What is your stand?
In a world of irony where things once considered
taboo have come out in the light.
Good works have become a rarity and courtesy is
out of sight.
There’s
a rush in all that we do, there’s no time for ourselves,
Internet
is fast and accessible and books collect dust on the shelves.
Work has taken precedence over maintaining relationships,
We don’t have time to listen to religious instruction;
we just want to know when the market dips.
In
the age where good is strangled and evil extends his hand,
I dare to ask you, “What is your stand?”
I dare to ask you, “What is your stand?”
